Hailing from the prominent electronic music hub of Ireland, Holly Lester is fast making waves in the UK & European electronic music scene.

The last half of 2018 saw Holly perform her debut Boiler Room set at Belfast’s illustrious AVA Festival, alongside Job Jobse and Mano Le Tough, finishing the year with a residency at UK clubbing institution The Warehouse Project.

She began carving out her signature Chicago and Detroit drenched sound through her residency during university at Liverpool’s esteemed rave du jour Chibuku Shake Shake, drawing the attention of fellow Irishmen Bicep. The duo invited the young selector to join them on both their esteemed Feel My Bicep mixtape series and parties of the same name, resulting in rave reviews. Soon after, Manchester outfit Limbo Radio recruited Lester to front a monthly radio show on the network where she demonstrates her eclectic palette, playing everything from jazz-funk to freestyle synthpop.

These have been supported by gigs at a plethora of the UK’s finest dancefloors including London’s acclaimed venue Printworks, and the epochal party that dominates Belfast, Shine. Along the way she’s rubbed shoulders with the great and good of the modern DJ community, sharing booths with the likes of Jeremy Underground, MCDE, Joy Orbison and Paul Woolford.

Moving forward Lester is poised to take the next step for any budding DJ, with 2019 the year the fruits of her production labour finally start to take shape. As with everything she does rave related, her commitment and humble demeanour remains central to her continued success, ensuring this doyen of dance isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
